Platform
Vrata is a platform for shared 3D spaces. A room opens from a link in the browser on a computer or phone, and in VR on a compatible headset. People see each other, talk by voice and work with the same materials.
What makes a space useful
- Join by link. No app to install: the room runs in the browser.
- Voice where people are. Audio is spatial: you hear each voice from where that person stands or sits.
- Materials in the room. PDF documents, images and video play on the scene's screens and stay in sync for everyone.
- Seats and roles. A scene has seats for participants and a screen for the speaker; the host controls the materials.
- VR without a separate path. On a headset, the same person stays in the same room: entering VR and going back to the screen does not break the meeting.
What Vrata is made of
A space is a scene plus room rules. Scenes are packaged as Scene Bundles: you can order one from us or build your own. The platform is open: the code is published under the Apache-2.0 license and can run on your own server — see the developer section.
