Features
This page lists what the Vrata 0.1 platform includes. Device testing for each scene is stated separately, on the demo cards and on the compatibility page.
Meeting
- Join from a link in the browser: keyboard and mouse on a computer, touch controls on a phone.
- Voice through LiveKit: the microphone turns on only when the participant chooses; you can listen without one.
- Spatial audio: volume and direction depend on where the speaker is.
- Real-time presence: participants see each other's avatars and positions.
Materials
- PDF documents on the room's screens: the host or an assigned presenter turns pages and everyone sees them change. Latecomers see the current page.
- PNG, JPEG and WebP images and MP4 and WebM video: play, pause and seek stay in sync for everyone.
- Video sound is off by default and is turned on per screen.
Scene and room
- Seats for participants: eight in the meeting and presentation templates, one in the personal workspace.
- Room templates with access rules: a personal space opens only for its owner, while the meeting and presentation rooms are made for guests.
- Your own scenes as Scene Bundles, checked before they are published.
VR
- Enter VR on a WebXR headset by your own action and go back to the screen without leaving the room.
- In VR: a pointer, snap turning, teleport and taking a seat.
Open platform
- Apache-2.0 code, release images for 0.1.0 and a single-host setup with Docker Compose.
- Documented APIs for the room manifest, tokens and scene upload.
