Compatibility
Vrata runs in the browser and picks a mode for the device: computer, phone or VR. Below is what to expect in each mode and how it is tested today.
| Device | Mode and controls | VR | How it is tested |
|---|---|---|---|
| Computer, Chrome | keyboard and mouse | if the browser supports WebXR | automatically in the platform CI |
| Phone, Chrome or Safari | touch to move and look | not available without WebXR | phone emulation in CI; tests on real phones are ahead |
| Headset, Quest Browser | screen first, then “Enter VR” and controllers | entered by a user action | VR simulation in CI and manual headset checks |
| Browser without a microphone | regular controls | — | joins with audio off |
| Browser without WebXR | regular controls | VR button unavailable | joins without VR |
Reference scenes
The meeting room, the presentation room and the personal workspace have not been tested on devices yet. Their cards mark the modes as “not verified”, and they stay that way until the scenes pass checks on real devices.
What you need for a meeting
- An up-to-date browser and a stable connection.
- For voice, a microphone and the browser's permission to use it; you can listen without a microphone.
- For VR, a headset with a WebXR-capable browser.
