Releases

Vrata follows SemVer: MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH. Before 1.0.0, a minor release may contain breaking changes; they are described in the release notes and in the upgrade guide.

v0.1.0 Public Beta — June 17, 2026

The first public beta: a clean public repository under Apache-2.0, a Docker Compose self-host path, the web runtime, the API and control plane, room state and LiveKit voice. The demo room uses the built-in fallback scene; scenes are loaded from external scene bundles.

Upgrading

• Pin an exact version or SHA tag; latest is not an upgrade target.
• Back up before an upgrade and keep the previous tag for rollback: see Self-hosting.
• After v0.1.0, main keeps moving; this site documents revision 380b2e7ff1dd, which the Vrata portal is integrated with.
